Watching the debate, there was a knock on the door. “We have a visitor,” I said. Standing in the portal, a deathly skeletal specter stood. You cowered in terror as I invited the visitor in. “Welcome, won’t you join us for tea?” You muttered from under a chair, “Can you make it to go?” “Tell us your purpose!” I demanded. Sitting at the table, the creature’s tea became ice. “Never mind,” I said, as I offered a cookie. The skeleton morphed to a ghoul and then a devil, Never uttering a word it sat glowing and glowering, While you crawled behind the couch, I turned away, resuming my debate watch. Ignoring the melting and dissolving image at the table I grew larger, finding equanimity.
